Pediatric Occupational Therapy at Liv Love

At Liv Love, we believe that every child has the potential to grow, play, and learn with confidence—especially when supported in the right way. Our pediatric occupational therapy services are designed to meet kids where they are, using movement, play, and purposeful activities to build the foundation for everyday success.

Led by Olivia Fry, M.S., OTR/L, a licensed occupational therapist with over 10 years of experience, Liv Love offers expert, play-based therapy with heart. Olivia is Handwriting Without Tears trained and has worked extensively in both school-based and medical settings. She trained under renowned sensory integration expert Dr. Winnie Dunn (author of the Sensory Profile), and brings deep experience in supporting children with a variety of developmental, sensory, and motor needs.

Whether your child is struggling with handwriting, sensory sensitivities, coordination, or daily routines, OT at Liv Love provides fun, individualized support that feels more like play than therapy.

What Is Pediatric OT?

Pediatric occupational therapy helps children develop the skills they need to participate in daily activities—like playing with friends, writing at school, getting dressed, or managing big feelings. At Liv Love, we use creative, evidence-based strategies to support:

  • ✍️ Handwriting and fine motor development

  • 🧠 Sensory processing and regulation (including customized sensory diets)

  • 👁 Visual motor and perceptual skills

  • 💪 Core strength, balance, and coordination

  • 🧦 Self-care skills (e.g., dressing, feeding, brushing teeth)

  • 🎯 Attention, motor planning, and independence

What Does OT Look Like?

Every child starts with a comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation, where we assess strengths, challenges, and developmental milestones. From there, we create a personalized plan and begin 1:1 sessions that are engaging, movement-rich, and tailored to your child’s needs and interests.

OT sessions might include:

  • Obstacle courses for strength and coordination

  • Sensory play to support regulation

  • Fine motor games for hand strength and pencil grasp

  • Visual motor tasks to boost school readiness

  • Functional tasks like shoe-tying, scissor use, or self-feeding

For Summer 2025, OT sessions can be at the comfort of your home, making services accessible, flexible, and comfortable for families.
